HANDS

1. The left hand tears asunder,
The right hand fills in.
Now, the left,
With a mind of steel,
Sways amiss
And cuts from the root to chest.
The right one cannot stop the blood,
So it remains silent, cries for a while,
Yet, tears cannot ever build a dam.

Thenceforth I speak amiss –
I stutter and I slice.
When the blood speaks
I sway firmly
And turn everything into smoke.
The right hand wrenches,
It wants to escape,
To flow away in tears
To remain back on the road.
Yet the left does not let it:
It misses a friend.

Still, at night time,
A forceful blood
Pales and arises,
It speaks of wrong,
Of murder and of a beast.

2. I live as a disaster to my body:
The two hands in despair gaze at each other.
Through the spine an icy mirror sets them apart.
Each palm follows its own mind.
The left one inhales, the right one squeals:
I have no breath;
While a Third one, wicked,
Grabs the neck and leads.
